Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wisconsin has a long standing partnership with the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay(UWGB).  They recently worked with UWGB to create a new pathway for students interested in going into nursing which will allow them to complete their BSN in 4 years. According to Brian Krogh, Associate Dean, Health Sciences of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College,

“The students will start at UWGB for the first year then come to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and complete their associate degree in nursing.   The fourth year students will return to UWGB to complete their BSN course work.  We had our first cohort of 24 students admitted to UWGB this past fall with no advertising.  Currently 20 of these students are on track to begin with us in fall.  We are very excited to offer this opportunity to students interested in obtaining their BSN and welcome sharing our model with other colleges.”
