The CCBC ATB Faculty Resource Website has been created for ADN nursing faculty who find themselves embarking upon or in the midst of offering their community college nursing students new, innovative pathways to achieving their BSNs. So explore and investigate the resources that have worked well to date for the CCBC ATB initiative! It is hoped the sharing of these resources can help to advance other similar ADN-BSN partnerships.

The Associate to Bachelor’s (ATB) Nursing Degree option provides a dual enrollment opportunity to students accepted into the CCBC Nursing Program. The ATB option helps students achieve a baccalaureate degree in nursing in a cost effective, time-saving manner. Designed for qualified Associate Degree Nursing Students, the option provides an opportunity to begin coursework for the B.S. degree in nursing at one of 4 participating universities while enrolled in the CCBC A.S. Degree Nursing Program. Upon A.S. Degree completion, students are expected to take and pass the NCLEX-RN licensure exam and may begin work as a Registered Nurse. ATB students can then complete the B.S. degree in nursing part-time in approximately two to three additional terms (six months to one year) following completion of the A.S. degree. Separate applications are required for each selected university partner.
The ATB Option is offered in collaboration with the following universities:
- Frostburg State University
- Notre Dame of MD University
- Stevenson University
- Towson University
