Amy Kline MA, RN, CHSE is the Head of Competency Based Education for Laerdal Medical. Amy has a passion for creating innovative educational solutions, supporting novice nurses in the transition to practice and advocating for nurse educator development. Amy previously worked as the Manager for Education Program Innovation at the National League for Nursing and as a faculty member and advisor for the Pediatric Simulation Training and Research Society of India. Amy has worked as a simulation specialist for Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and as an Assistant Professor of nursing at St. Catherine’s University. Amy started her career as a labor and delivery nurse and has continued her clinical interest and specialty development in maternal-child nursing. Amy is a graduate of Luther College School of Nursing, received her Master of Nursing Education from St. Catherine’s University and completed simulation and debriefing training through Boston Children’s Hospital.
Jeanie Staton is an experienced educator and Higher Education Publishing Consultant. Jeanie focuses on supporting the digital application portfolio at Laerdal Medical Corporation. She currently works with hospitals and nursing schools to implement digital resources into their programs and departments. Understanding the transformation taking place in health education, Ms. Staton seeks to continue the shift from traditional modes of learning into innovative technology and practice.
