Larissa Africa, MBA, BSN, RN, FAONL, FAAN is Vice President of Healthcare Solutions for Ascend Learning. She has spent almost two decades developing and leading strategies in use of a competency-based transition to practice (TTP) program, most recently as President and Chief Executive officer of Versant Healthcare Competency Solutions. This model integrates and standardizes nursing workforce development across the entire healthcare continuum and addresses high-demand areas such as long-term care and home health, including advanced practice nursing, at healthcare organizations nationally. She has published and presented on this topic nationally and internationally.
