OADN Foundation Mission

The OADN Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing. The Foundation advances excellence in associate degree nursing education by investing in academic progression, leadership development, and scholarly research that strengthen the nursing workforce.

Provide scholarships to support the preparation and development of associate degree faculty and students.

Leadership

Promote the development and recognition of nurse leaders in associate degree nursing education.

Support scholarly research to advance associate degree nursing education.

Annual Funding: One award of $1,000

Level Up RN Educator Scholarship Application
2026 Funding: One scholarship of $1,000, and in addition, the recipient will receive the complete Level Up RN Ultimate Nursing School Survival Kit (valued at $469.95), one-year Level Up RN membership (valued at $99), and Flashables (valued at $199).

The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurse Educators provides colleges/schools of nursing an international recognition program that they may use to demonstrate appreciation to their nursing faculty for their commitment and inspirational influence on their students.

In light of the nursing faculty shortage, The DAISY Foundation is confident that given the evidence of the importance of meaningful recognition, this program will contribute to:

  • Nurse Educator retention and engagement
  • A more positive work environment
