Mary Dickow

Director of Leadership Development

Mary Dickow is recognized as a national voice in leadership development for nurses and on leadership in health care. Mary serves as the Director of Leadership Development at the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing where she focuses on leadership, academic progression and interprofessional education. Mary also recently served as a Program Director with HealthImpact, California’s nursing workforce center.

Mary has a long history working with the University of California, San Francisco including 15 years with Healthforce Center where she served as the Deputy Director for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellows program. She continues to serves in a faculty role for the Master of Science Healthcare Administration and Interprofessional Leadership program at UCSF.

In 2014 Mary was inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. She serves as President of the Chin Family Institute for Nursing Board, as a member of Chelsea’s Hope Board and the Jewish Vocational Services Healthcare Advisory Board. She was a member of the 2010 cohort of Leadership America. Mary holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco and serves on their School of Management Alumni Program.
