Candidate for President-elect
I am honored to submit my candidacy for the OADN Board of Directors. As a dedicated nurse educator and advocate for associate degree nursing, I bring over 25 years of clinical, academic, and leadership experience to this role. My career has been rooted in advancing equitable access to nursing education and promoting excellence in the preparation of future nurses. Currently serving as Dean of Nursing at Charter College, I have led initiatives focused on curriculum innovation, student success, and community engagement. My doctoral research explored pathways to academic progression and workforce readiness, aligning closely with OADN’s mission to strengthen associate degree nursing as a foundation for lifelong learning and professional growth.
As a proud RN and leader, I am deeply committed to OADN’s vision of inclusivity, advocacy, and academic excellence. I seek to contribute strategic insight, policy acumen, and a collaborative spirit to the Board. Together, we can champion the role of associate degree nursing in shaping the future of healthcare and empowering diverse communities across the nation.
