Nurse Leaders Answer the Call of Service

The Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) is pleased to share recent appointments made by the OADN Board of Directors. These leaders bring extensive expertise, dedication, and passion for advancing associate degree nursing (ADN) education and supporting our mission.

OADN Board Secretary Appointment

Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Robison, EdD, MSN, RN, CNE, CHSE-A, has Liz Robison been appointed to a two-year term as Secretary of the OADN Board of Directors. Liz began her service to OADN in 2020 on the Simulation Task Force and advanced to co-chair of the Simulation Committee in 2024. A retired U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps officer with 22 years of service, she went on to a 16-year academic career as a nursing professor, where she established her college’s first simulation center. Her leadership extends to national and international organizations, including INACSL, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and the Florida Center for Nursing. Liz brings to OADN a strong background in governance, strategic planning, and advocacy, along with a deep commitment to advancing associate degree nursing education.

The Board Secretary serves on the OADN Board of Directors Executive Committee and plays a key role in supporting association governance, ensuring accurate records, and advancing the work of the Board.

OADN Nominating Committee Appointments

The Nominating Committee is responsible for overseeing the Board election process and supporting the development of future association leaders. The following individuals have been appointed to fill current vacancies:

The OADN Foundation plays a vital role in supporting the mission of OADN by providing scholarships, faculty recognition programs, and grants. Teaching and Learning in Nursing Editorial Board Appointments

The Editorial Board of Teaching and Learning in Nursing provides scholarly oversight to OADN’s official journal, guiding the advancement of research and evidence-based practices in nursing education. The following distinguished scholars and researchers have been appointed:
