Getting Ready for the Convention

Dear OADN Colleagues,

Audria Denker
Dr. Audria Denker, DNP, RN, FAADN, ANEF Director, Southeast Region

It fills me with great joy to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome as we prepare to gather for the 2025 OADN Annual Convention in beautiful Nashville! This year’s event is especially exciting — the Convention has officially sold out! What a wonderful reflection of our collective enthusiasm and commitment to the mission of advancing associate degree nursing education. Each year, this gathering provides one of our most meaningful opportunities to reconnect, learn, and celebrate together. It is a time to engage deeply with new ideas, recharge our spirits, and strengthen the professional and personal bonds that unite us as nurse educators.

Why This Convention Matters

In a fast-changing healthcare environment, our role as educators has never been more vital. The Convention is thoughtfully designed to provide:

  • Fresh insights and evidence-based strategies to bring back to your classrooms and students
  • Opportunities to connect and collaborate with peers from across the country
  • Inspiration to renew your passion for excellence in ADN education

Our presenters and planners have worked diligently to create a rich and engaging program, blending high-impact general sessions with practical, take-home strategies that will empower you in your teaching and leadership.

What You Can Do Now

  • Mark your calendar and finalize travel plans, arrive ready to connect and be inspired
  • Review the program and identify sessions that align with your personal and professional goals
  • Reach out to colleagues attending the Convention and make plans to meet together, we make our community stronger

As we come together in Nashville, I encourage you to embrace this experience as more than just a conference. It is a celebration of who we are as educators, leaders, and champions for the future of nursing. Let’s make the most of our time together by sharing community, supporting one another, and envisioning the preferred future of our profession.

With gratitude and excitement,

Dr. Audria Denker
