OADN Announces $4,000 in Awards for Faculty and Student Posters at the 2026 Convention

The Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) is pleased to announce $4,000 in poster awards for the top faculty and student posters presented at the 2026 OADN Convention, held November 12 to 14, 2026, at the Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio, Texas.

Award recipients announced during the closing general session on Saturday, November 18.

These awards were made possible through the generous support of Trajecsys (a Portico brand), and the American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Post University, whose continued sponsorship has supported the OADN Convention poster awards program for the fourth consecutive year.

OADN is deeply grateful for their ongoing commitment to advancing nursing education, supporting faculty and student scholarship, and recognizing excellence within the Associate Degree Nursing community.

Supporting Nursing Education and Leadership

Trajecsys, A Portico Brand is a leading provider of centralized clinical recordkeeping solutions for nursing programs, continues its support of nurse educators through sponsorship of the 2026 Convention faculty poster awards and Trajecsys Leadership Institute Scholarships.

Trajecsys, now part of Portico and a leading provider of centralized clinical recordkeeping solutions for nursing programs, continues its support of nurse educators through sponsorship of the 2026 Convention faculty poster awards and Trajecsys Leadership Institute Scholarships.

“One of the most impactful things we can do as a profession is create space for educators and students to share what’s working, challenge existing approaches, and advance new ideas. These poster presentations represent the kind of scholarship and innovation that moves nursing education forward, and we’re proud to support that work through OADN,” said Brian Bright, CEO of Trajecsys.

Post University will generously serve as sponsor of the 2026 OADN Convention student poster awards, which it first sponsored in 2023. The American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Post University offers nursing and healthcare degree programs including RN-BSN, RN-BSN/MSN, MSN, MSN-NP, DNP, and MBA-Healthcare pathways.

“Post University is proud to sponsor the poster process in order to support students’ research efforts, provide opportunities to sharpen presentation skills, and increase ADN visibility within the research community,” said Kimberly Nerud, PhD, RN, dean of the American Sentinel College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Post University.

About the Poster Presentations

Poster presentations at the 2026 OADN Convention provide faculty and pre-licensure nursing students with opportunities to share innovative practices, original research, evidence-based initiatives, leadership strategies, and educational advancements that strengthen Associate Degree Nursing education.

Poster presentations support professional growth by fostering scholarly dissemination, strengthening evidence-based practice competencies, encouraging collaboration, and enhancing presentation and communication skills within the nursing education community.

Top consideration will be given to poster abstracts featuring innovative, well-designed, evidence-informed projects that demonstrate meaningful contributions to nursing education, student success, workforce development, clinical learning, leadership, or academic-practice partnerships.

The 2026 OADN Convention theme, Empowering the ADN Educator: Flourishing with Strength and Sustainability, highlights the critical role of resilience, innovation, leadership, and long-term sustainability in advancing Associate Degree Nursing education and strengthening the future nursing workforce.

Faculty and students alike continue to demonstrate adaptability, creativity, and commitment to excellence while navigating the evolving landscape of nursing education and healthcare delivery.
