The Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society takes immense pride in announcing the successful completion of its recent two-day community blood drive. Held on April 1st and 2nd, this collaborative initiative was designed to address the vital need for blood donations within the local community.

With passionate dedication, the society’s members organized, promoted, and facilitated the event. Their efforts, combined with the overwhelming support of students, faculty, and community members, led to the collection of an impressive 62 units of blood. Considering that each donation has the potential to save up to three lives, this initiative could positively impact as many as 186 individuals in need.

Beyond bolstering the community’s blood supply, the blood drive served as a platform for the society’s members to exemplify the core values of the nursing profession: compassion, service, and community engagement. It also allowed them to showcase leadership skills and engage in meaningful service-learning opportunities.

The Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society extends its deepest gratitude to all who contributed—whether by donating blood, volunteering, or offering support. The generosity and commitment displayed by participants played a pivotal role in making this initiative a resounding success.

This event underscores the importance of community-driven efforts and reflects the dedication of the Epsilon Upsilon
