Washington, D.C. — August 13, 2025 — The Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Awards, Scholarships, and Grants, honoring exceptional educators, dedicated researchers, and inspiring students who are shaping the future of associate degree nursing (ADN) education.
These distinguished honorees represent the power and promise of the ADN pathway — a cornerstone of the nursing profession that provides accessible, high-quality education and remains one of the primary entry points to RN licensure across the country.
“Every one of these recipients is advancing the mission of the ADN pathway — to provide opportunity, promote excellence, and meet the healthcare needs of our communities,” said Rick García, PhD, RN, CCM, FAAOHN, FNYAM, FAADN, Chief Executive Officer of OADN and the OADN Foundation. “They embody the compassion, skill, and leadership that define associate degree nursing, and they are making a profound difference for patients and families across the country.”
As Donna Meyer, MSN, RN, ANEF, FAADN, FAAN, President of the OADN Foundation, explained, the work of these honorees reaches far beyond the classroom: “The ADN pathway is the most accessible and affordable entry point into the nursing profession, and it plays a vital role in addressing our nation’s nursing shortage. These recipients are making an impact in the classroom, in their communities, and across the nation — advancing excellence in education, expanding access to care, and inspiring the next generation of nurses. Supporting them means strengthening the entire nursing workforce.”
