Larissa Africa, MBA, BSN, RN, FAONL, FAAN is Vice President of Healthcare Solutions for Ascend Learning. She has spent nearly two decades developing and leading strategies focused on competency-based transition to practice (TTP) programs.
Most recently, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Versant Healthcare Competency Solutions, where she advanced a model that integrates and standardizes nursing workforce development across the healthcare continuum. Her work addresses high-demand areas such as long-term care and home health, including advanced practice nursing, within healthcare organizations nationwide.
Larissa has published and presented on competency-based workforce development and transition to practice programs at both national and international levels.
